    HDC4300/2500 Series Camera 4-Day Training

    This HDC-4300/ 2500 camera systems course is designed to give participants a big picture look at the 4K/HD Live Camera Ecosystem and then dives into the maintenance/alignments of the individual system components; targeting the maintenance and alignments of the camera, camera control unit (CCU), master setup unit (MSU), remote control panel(RCP), and baseband processing unit (BPU). The camera system maintenance and alignments follow exacting factory recommended procedures to ensure signal integrity is optimized throughout the signal path and facilitating true-to-life image reproduction.

    The HDC-4300/ 2500 camera family is designed to provide a wide range of choices of 4K and HDTV configurations to fulfill the increasing demands for multiple global digital origination formats from almost all applications including broadcasters, filmmakers, production companies, etc. By fully exploiting advanced 4K technology in the HDC-4300, Sony in continuously improving the delivery of true-to-life reality, emotion, and excitement - helping audiences feel as if they re really present in the captured video scene. To ensure the true-to-life experience is achieved, the HDC-4300/2500 Camera Ecosystem needs imaging performance requirements and system integration that must be met with sufficient precision to ensure that high-quality color reproduction and image resolution are achieved throughout the delivery chain without introducing unacceptable artifacts or interruptions.

    Upon completion of the course, participants should have a firm understanding of how a HDC-4300/2500 live camera system is configured and built. Participants should also have a deep understanding of how to perform optimum camera electrical alignments, software/firmware upgrades, disassembly/assembly of all system equipment. This knowledge will enhance a participant s ability to deploy, troubleshoot, and repair professional camera video equipment used in the current UHD/HD Ecosystem; both in real-time and non-real-time production environments.
